A bill (SB122) that would restrict the Board of Regents from enforcing rules prohibiting guns on university campuses passed a Senate committee and will next be heard by the full Senate.
South Dakota State University President Barry Dunn says they oppose the bill….
Dunn says they have a lot of people moving around the campus in Brookings….
The bill passed out of the Senate Judiciary committee on a four to three vote.
