The South Dakota legislature this year passed a law (HB1087) outlining free speech and intellectual diversity at the state’s universities.
That was in response to what some legislators felt was bias toward conservative speakers and organizations.

Cwach says he would like another look at the bill in the next session..

Some posters connected to a white supremacist group appeared in the Muenster University Center at USD last week.
Cwach says he doesn’t think that is connected to the law…

Those posters were removed by university officials because they were not connected to any on campus student group.
