With 2020 wrapping up today, it’s been a challenging year for agriculture much of it brought on by the effects of the pandemic. It caused many ways of conducting business to change. The U.S. Wheat Associates like many turned to virtual platforms to complete their work. USW Chairman Darren Padget says a lot of trade discussions were held virtually.
He says they’re starting to see more trade opportunities in Africa and the Mideast than they had in the past.
Padget says there were several bilateral trade wins for U.S. Wheat Associates members in 2020.
Padget says USW continues to work with their representatives in Rotterdam and Cape Town and several offices around the world to enhance trade opportunities.
