The U.S. Senate this morning approved the $ trillion dollar infrastructure bill. Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley supported the measure as he says it’s a good bi-partisan measure that contains several areas that need funding including roads, bridges and waterways.

He says the infrastructure legislation will provide funding for Iowa’s bridges which are last in the nation when it comes to needed repair.

Grassley says following passage of the infrastructure bill, the Senate is now working on the budget bill which he calls a $2 and 5 tenths trillion boondoggle which will feed the fires of inflation.
