United States Red Meat Exports Remain Strong

Global demand for U.S. red meat is currently strong and there’s been a great rebuilding effort for those markets since the pandemic hit earlier this year. That’s according to Pat Binger, Incoming U.S. Meat Export Federation Chairman and South Dakota native.

He says while overall trade is going well, there are some trade issues that need to be worked out with China.

Binger says there is a glimmer of hope with China however as the U.S. and China currently have a working group trying to find a resolution to both the beta agonist and ractopamine issues.

Binger says overall, it’s looking very bright for U.S. red meat exports going forward into 2021.
