United States Cattlemen Association members will be in Billings, Montana Friday and Saturday for their convention. President Kenny Graner says topics they’ll discuss include trade, markets, conservation and animal health issues. He says their major concerns are trade and markets.

He says the major trade concern they have right now is the North American Free Trade Agreement Modernization. Graner says they want that improved but don’t want to see the U.S. exit the deal. He also says it’s important that Country of Origin Labeling be reinstated and included in NAFTA.

Graner says they will hold a panel to help producers understand what happens to their product at the retail counter.

The annual meeting with policy setting and elections will be held Friday with the educational session and speakers scheduled for Saturday.
