The University of North Dakota may soon be rejoining some familiar faces for conference sports competition.
A long time foe of South Dakota State, South Dakota and North Dakota State in the division two North Central Conference, UND appears close to leaving the Big Sky Conference for the Summit League and Missouri Valley Football Conference.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that MVFC presidents are voting Wednesday and Summit League commissioner Tom Douple will make an announcement Thursday.
