U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman is renewing the Obama administration’s push for congressional action on the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal before the administration leaves following the November elections.
Froman knows the political realities of trying to pass TPP in an election year when the top Presidential candidates oppose trade deals and key lawmakers in the Capitol are reluctant to move on TPP.
