The U.S. Grains Council is hosting its annual meeting and marketing conference in Greenville, South Carolina this week with the theme of discussion revolving around post-pandemic market development strategies. Kimberly Atkins Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the U.S. Grains Council says growing foreign trade is a big goal of the Council.
She says that the conference features discussions with their overseas staff and partners to discuss the trade outlook for 2022.
Atkins also noted most conversations at the conference involved the current negotiations with China.
The convention concludes today with their board of directors meeting.
