The Summit League announced its 2015-16 all-league women’s golf teams at the annual awards banquet Sunday evening, prior to the start of The Summit League Women’s Golf Championship in Nebraska City, Neb.

The awards are determined through a vote by the league’s nine head coaches.

South Dakota State placed a pair of golfers on the first team in Hallie Getz and Megan Mingo. Getz captured the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational in March with a 36-hole score of 141 (68-73). She also earned a pair of top-five finishes and three in the top 10 this season. The junior has an even 76.00 stroke average on the year and captures her second career all-league award (2015, 2nd team). Mingo leads The Summit League with a 74.75 stroke average and won individual medalist honors at the Jackrabbit Invitational. In total, she has four top five finishes and six in the top 10 this season.

Denver’s Katharina Baratta is the lone freshman on the all-league teams after compiling a 76.10 stroke average this season. She earned top-10 finishes at the Golfweek Conference Challenge and the Ron Moore Women’s Intercollegiate.

South Dakota’s Brenna Lervick collects her second career all-league award after being named to the second team in 2014. She is second in the league with a 75.00 average on the year and has a league-best eight top 10 finishes. She carded her low round of 69 on the year at the UAB Fall Beach Blast.

North Dakota State’s Natalie Roth earns a first team nod after collecting second team honors a year ago. She ranks third in the league with a 75.47 stroke average entering the tournament. The sophomore won the NDSU Fall Kickoff and has registered six top 10 finishes this season.
