Two GPAC Teams Advance

The third and final day of pool play concluded on Thursday at the NAIA National Volleyball Championship in Sioux City, Iowa. 

The 36th annual event is in its 8th year at the Tyson Events Center.

  On the final day Midland moved to 3-0 with a 3-1 win over Vanguard of California.  Hastings dropped a five set match to Columbia.  Dordt was a four set winner over Olivet Nazarene, while Briar Cliff dropped a three set match to Mid America Nazarene.

  Midland and Hastings will move to play on Friday in the single elimination round, while Dordt and Briar Cliff wrapped up their seasons.

Hastings garnered the 8th seed in the bracket and will face off with 9th seeded Georgetown at 10am on Friday morning on Court 1.  The winner will face top seeded Lindsey Wilson in the quarterfinals.  Midland drew the 6th seed and will face 11th seed College of Idaho at 12:30 also on Court 1.  The winner of that match will face Missouri Baptist the three seed in an 8pm quarterfinal.
