One person died and two other people were injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash south of Revillo.

Names of those involved are not yet being released pending notification of family members.

A 2007 Chevrolet Silverado HD pickup was eastbound on U.S. Highway 212 when, as it turned left, collided in front of a westbound Chevrolet S-10 pickup.

The 62-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet S-10 pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt.

Both female occupants of the Chevrolet Silverado – the 20-year-old driver and 51-year-old passenger – both sustained serious non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a Watertown hospital. Both were wearing seatbelts. Charges are pending against the driver.

One man died early Monday morning in a one-vehicle crash southwest of Canton.

The name of the person is not yet being released pending notification of family members. He was the only person involved.

A 2005 GMC Sierra pickup was southbound on 476th Avenue, south of the intersection with 286th Street, when the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled. The 47-year-old male driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The exact time of the crash has not yet been determined. The crash was reported at 5:12 a.m.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crashes. All information is only preliminary at this point.
