Two people died in a one-vehicle rollover that occurred Thursday afternoon near White Lake.

A 1990 Volkswagon Cabriolet Convertible was westbound on Interstate 90 when the driver, 22 year old Taylor Tolle of Minneapolis, MN, lost control. The vehicle eventually entered the ditch where it rolled.

The female passenger, 20 year old Anjuli Kerlin of Sturgis, S.D., was pronounced dead at the scene. Tolle died Friday at a Sioux Falls hospital. Both were wearing seatbelts.

South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating. Other responding agencies were Aurora County Sheriff’s Office, White Lake EMS and South Dakota Department of Transportation.
