The Minnesota Twins posted another spring victory with a 6-4 win over Pittsburgh Monday in Bradenton, Florida.

A three run homer by Daniel Palka in the eighth inning was the big blow for the Twins.

Tyler Duffey, battling for a spot in the starting rotation with Ricky Nolasco, gave up four runs in four innings of work.

Danny Santana had a pair of stolen bases for Minnesota.

The Twins announced that veteran Carlos Quentin has rejected an assignment to Rochester to become a free agent. Quentin hopes to catch on with another major league squad or possibly retire.
