The game between the Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Indians scheduled for Wednesday night was postponed because of rain.

The Twins and Indians will play a doubleheader Thursday starting at 11:05 a.m.

The game was called off about two hours before it was supposed to begin.

Cleveland is trying to stay in contention for the AL Central title and also a wild-card spot.

Left-hander T.J. House was scheduled to start for Cleveland against right-hander Kyle Gibson (11-10) on Wednesday. Indians ace Corey Kluber (14-9) had been set to pitch Thursday against Ricky Nolasco.
