While the Minnesota Twins are looking for more starting pitching, they haven’t forgotten the bullpen either with a pair of moves being reported.
Media reports say the Twins are negotiating a new deal with reliever Sergio Romo. It is believed to be a one year deal worth about five million dollars.
Romo came over from Miami during the 2019 season and appeared in 27 games for the Twins.
Another signing reported over the weekend was lefthanded reliever Caleb Thielbar inking a minor league deal with the Twins. Thielbar had major league experience with the Twins from 2013-2015 and minor league experience with two other organizations since.
Thielbar is currently the pitching coach at Augustana University.
