The second half of the Major League Baseball season gets underway Friday when the All-Star break ends with a 15-game schedule.
The Minnesota Twins open the second-half at home against AL-Central rivals Cleveland, who entered the break leading the division. Ervin Santana starts tonight for the Twins against the Indians’ Carlos Carrasco.
Minnesota posted a record of 32-56 in the first half, twenty games back of the Indians.
After their three game series with Cleveland, the Twins go on a seven game road trip to face the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox next week.
