The group of statues around Target Field honoring Twins baseball heroes has been joined by a tribute to the team’s mascot.
The Twins unveiled a brand new statue of mascot T.C. Bear on the plaza outside Gate 29 prior to Sunday’s game with Houston.
Manager Ron Gardenhire and Twins greats Kent Hrbek and Tony Oliva were among those on hand for the unveiling. The Twins introduced their mascot in 2000.
