Twins Look To 2019 Schedule

The Minnesota Twins have announced their preliminary regular season schedule for the 2019 season, the team’s 59th campaign in Twins Territory.

Minnesota will open the season at home for fifth time in Target Field history against the Cleveland Indians (March 28, 30 and 31) followed by a 10-day road trip to Kansas City, Philadelphia and New York-NL.

The Twins will play 20 Interleague games over the course of the 2019 regular season (5 in April/ 2 in May/ 4 in July/ 6 in August/ 3 in September). The home Interleague schedule includes a series against the Milwaukee Brewers (May 27-28), a visit from the New York Mets (July 16-17), the Atlanta Braves (August 5-7), and the Washington Nationals (September 10-12). The Twins will face the Philadelphia Phillies on the road (April 5-7), followed by a stop at the New York Mets (April 9-10), then head to the Miami Marlins (July 30-August 1), and end their Interleague road schedule with a pair of games against the Milwaukee Brewers (August 13-14).

The Twins 2019 schedule features three home games in the month of March, 12 in April, 13 in May, 12 in June, 12 in July, 16 in August and 13 in September. Premium home series include a four-game series with the Houston Astros (April 29-May 2), the border battle with the Brewers (May 27-28), the Boston Red Sox (June 17-19), and the New York Yankees (July 22-24). Additionally, during the months of April, May (prior to Memorial Day) and September, the Twins have moved weekday (Monday-Thursday) night games to a 6:40 pm start.
