The Minnesota Twins open the 2017 season at home against AL Central rival Kansas City.

The MLB schedule released Wednesday has Minnesota opening the season April 3 with a three-game series against the Royals at Target Field. The Twins then hit the road for series at the Chicago White Sox and the Detroit Tigers.

The Twins will play 20 interleague games next season, including a weeknight “home-and-home” series against the Brewers August 7th through 8th in Minneapolis and August 9th through 10th in Milwaukee. Minnesota will host interleague series against Colorado, Arizona and San Diego and make interleague road trips to San Francisco and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Home schedule highlights include a weekend series against the Boston Red Sox May 5th through 7th and a Memorial Day series against the Houston Astros May 29th through 31st.
