The Minnesota Twins today announced their preliminary regular season schedule for the 2018 season, the team’s 58th campaign in Twins Territory.

Minnesota will open the season on the road against the Baltimore Orioles (March 29, 31 and April 1) followed by two games in Pittsburgh (April 2, 4).

The Twins will then return to Target Field for the Opening Series at home with three games against the Seattle Mariners (April 5, 7-8), three vs. the Houston Astros (April 9-11), and four vs. the Chicago White Sox (April 12-15). The Twins will extend their first homestand of the season beyond Target Field to the island of Puerto Rico where they will host the Cleveland Indians at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan from April 17-18, bookended by off days April 16 and 19.

The Twins will play 20 Interleague games over the course of the 2018 regular season (5 in April / 7 in May / 2 in June / 4 in July / 2 in August). The home Interleague schedule includes home series against the Cincinnati Reds (April 27-29 at Target Field), a set against the St. Louis Cardinals (May 15-16), a weekend series against the Milwaukee Brewers (May 18-20) and a visit by the Pittsburgh Pirates (August 14-15). In addition, the Twins will make Interleague roadtrips to the Pittsburgh Pirates (April 2, 4), the St. Louis Cardinals (May 7-8), the Chicago Cubs (June 29-July 1) and the Milwaukee Brewers (July 2-4).

The Twins 2018 schedule features 43 home games between Memorial Day (May 28) and Labor Day (September 3). The Twins will play 16 home games in the month of April, 11 in May, 15 in June, 13 in July, 14 in August and 12 in September.
