Media reports indicate the Minnesota Twins may soon announce the hiring of Derek Falvey as head of baseball operations.

Falvey is currently an assistant general manager for the Cleveland Indians. The 33-year-old has been a rising star in the Cleveland organization which he has worked for the past nine seasons.

The Twins are expected to name a general manager who would work under Falvey. Rob Antony has been the interim Twins G.M. since Terry Ryan was fired.
