South Dakota sophomore Stanley Umude was named the #SummitMBB Player of the Week by league officials Monday after leading the Coyotes to a win over previously unbeaten Purdue Fort Wayne.
Umude played all 40 minutes in USD’s 87-73 victory over the Mastodons, who saw a six-game winning stream come to an end in Vermillion.
Umude scored 15 of his game-high 26 points in the second half, helping the Yotes erase a five-point halftime deficit.
