After opening a nine-game road trip with two wins in three games in Toronto, the Minnesota Twins are in Detroit for a weekend series.

The Twins enter the weekend four games back of the Central Division leading Tigers.

Thursday’s open date was the first day off for the Twins in three weeks. They are two games below the .500 mark going into Friday night’s game.
