The Minnesota Twins added a pair of veteran pitchers over the weekend to try to bolster their starting rotation.
The biggest move came Saturday when they acquired pitcher Jake Odorizzi from the Tampa Bay Rays for a minor league infielder.
Odorizzi went 10-8 for the Rays last season while missing time twice during the season with injuries.
On Friday, the Twins announced the signing of pitcher Anibal Sanchez who was a free agent. He pitched most recently for the Tigers, but has 90 career wins including a no-hitter with the Miami Marlins.
