Turner County Sheriff Byron Nogelmeier Moving to State 24 – 7 Coordinator

Turner County Sheriff Byron Nogelmeier will be the next State Coordinator of the Attorney General’s 24 -7 Sobriety Program. Attorney General Marty Jackley made that announcement this week.
Nogelmeier says he decided it was time for a change….

Nogelmeier says he has seen what the 24 – 7 program can do for people that need help…..

Nogelmeier will replace Art Mabry, who is retiring after seven years on the job.
Nogelmeier says he wants a smooth transition….

Nogelmeier will leave the sheriff’s office on March thirty first, and begin his new job on April first.
