Turkey Drive Kicked Off to Help Hungry Families

Not only are the food banks in Sioux Falls, Rapid City, and Pierre collecting turkeys, but the Sioux Falls location is also accepting donations of all the fixings…

Dawson says the goal of this year’s turkey drive is 2,000 birds.

Along with donations of food, the pantries are accepting monetary donations that will be used to buy Thanksgiving meals. Feeding South Dakota serves hundreds of agencies alongside the three main food pantries throughout the state.
