A tuition increase will be on the agenda for the Board of Regents meeting at the University of South Dakota.

Executive Director Jack Warner says much of the hike is driven by their salary policy…

 

Warner says they are still trying to catch up on salary increases over the past few years…

 

Warner says there are also general activity fee increases at three of the campuses…

 

Warner says they are recommending a five point seven percent increase in tuition for the next school year. The legislature had contributed extra money the past two years to freeze tuition, but that was not funded for the next year.
