Tripp-Delmont School District Moving Forward After Opt Out Vote

Now that voters in the Tripp-Delmont School District have approved a new, four hundred-thousand-dollar tax opt out, the work of putting it in action begins.
Tripp-Delmont Superintendent Gail Swenson says they are just starting the process for this fall…..

She says much of their budget control has been taken over by the legislature….

State aid is driven by student enrollment. Swenson says there are a lot of unknowns as they plan for the start of school in August…..

The school district has seen a drastic drop in enrollment over the last ten years.
