US Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx promoted a six-year transportation bill passed by the Senate during a stop in Nebraska.
Foxx says the 34 extensions to highway funding since 2009 has hurt progress in transportation. . .

Foxx says he expects the House to come to the negotiating table and work out a bill with the Senate the president can sign.
