TransCanada officials are waiting to see how the Nebraska Supreme Court rules regarding the route of their XL pipeline through the Cornhusker state. Trans Canada’s Shawn Howard says while they are not part of the lawsuit, have a vested interest with their project. He says they’re waiting to see whose rules they have to follow to move forward.
Howard says he doesn’t know how the ruling will affect progress on the pipeline.
Howard says TransCanada will continue talking about the importance of the XL project and get out the facts to refute what he calls “professional activists” who have spread misinformation for the past three years about the pipeline. He says the majority of Americans strongly support their project.
