TransCanada is preparing to begin construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline.
TransCanada spokesperson Robynn Tysver says construction could begin in a few months
Tysver says the 8(B)Billion dollar project, first proposed 10 years ago would take two-and-a-half years to build
The State Department recently released an update of its 2014 environmental impact study, again concluding that any environmental impact of the pipeline would be minimal.
It would carry crude from the oil sands of western Canada to Steele City, Nebraska where it would connect with the southern portion of the pipeline.
