Trans Canada Seeking Route Approval

Trans Canada officials are asking the Nebraska Public Service Commission to approve the route for their Keystone XL Pipeline. BOLD Nebraska Energy Director Ben Gotschall says it’s the same route that was approved two years ago by then Governor Dave Heineman. He says now the Canadian company has to go through a process for getting state approval for their project.
Gotschall says his group has problems with the route Trans Canada is seeking to use for the pipeline.

The Nebraska Public Service Commission is expected to reach a decision on the permit for the pipeline within seven months to a year.
