Trains Could be Rolling Soon on the Napa Line

The South Dakota Railroad Board this week reached a long term agreement on the Napa to Platte rail line.
Board Chairman Todd Yeaton says they leased the line to Dakota Southern Railroad…..

Yeaton says they needed to get an operator on the line to enable service…..

Yeaton says the state rail board also gets some revenue back from the line operation……

Yeaton says the priority is to get service to Tabor, with possible extensions later to Tyndall, Avon and possibly Wagner.
