The typical severe weather season of the months of May and June were very quiet across much of the northern plains.
Peter Rogers at the National Weather Service Office in Sioux Falls says only two tornadoes were reported in those two months. He says its been very active in past years……

Rogers says the first weeks of July will stay on the warm side…
