The NCAA men’s basketball tournament opens this week with Iowa State, Iowa, Minnesota and North Dakota State in the field.
The Cyclones are the highest seed of the area teams. Iowa State will be a #6 seed and take on Ohio State on Friday night in Tulsa, Ok.
Iowa, a #10 seed, will play a Friday morning game in Columbus, Ohio, against Cincinnati.
Minnesota, also a #10 seed, will play a Thursday morning game in Des Moines, Ia., against Louisville.
North Dakota State, the Summit League tourney champ, has a play-in game Wednesday night in Dayton against North Carolina Central. The winner goes on to face overall #1 seed Duke on Friday.
