Time is running out for Nebraska property owners to file a Valuation Protest with their county clerk.

Ruth Sorensen with the state Department of Revenue says when filing a protest, you need to have valid claims.

Sorensen says there is a procedure.

Sorensen says the county board of equalization will consider the Valuation Protests.
