Yankton has a new Fire Chief. The city sent out a tweet Tuesday saying Tim Linke, with the Lincoln Nebraska Fire Department would be the new Chief.

Linke says he was impressed with the standing of the Yankton Fire Department…..

Linke, who is a Division Chief of Training with the Lincoln Fire Department, says he has experience with volunteer fire forces….

Linke says the Yankton Department is in good shape…..

Linke will join the department this summer. He takes over for former Chief Tom Kurtenbach who retired earlier this year.
