Thune Says Tax Reform Ag Friendly

South Dakota Senator John Thune says the just passed tax-reform bill will provide some real benefits to farmers and ranchers. He says one ag-friendly measure included in the conference report was full expensing.

He says the popular Section 179 capital expensing provision was also made permanent.

And Thune says the pass-through provision he authored in the final bill will also help farmers with net farm income at a time they desperately need it.

The estate tax exemption was also doubled and that was also welcomed by the agricultural community.
