Thune: Iran Agreement A Bad Deal

President Obama is now turning his efforts to selling the tentative deal reached with Iran last week in Switzerland.

The agreement would reduce the size of the Iranian nuclear development program, and open it to international inspection.

South Dakota Senator John Thune says it would be a major policy shift…

Thune says it appears that Iranians are the winners in the deal…

Thune says no deal would be better than this deal…

There are also differences of opinion if the deal would need ratification by the Senate. Negotiations are supposed to continue into June with the hopes of a final deal by mid summer.
