The crude oil planned to be transported in the Keystone XL pipeline is especially dangerous. That is one of the messages behind the “Harvest the Hope” concert that was held Saturday north of Neligh Nebraska. Over eight thousand people gathered at the Tanderup farm to listen to Neil Young and Willie Nelson, who headlined the concert.

Based on ticket sales alone, the concert raised over three hundred fifty thousand dollars.
Trans Canada, who is building the pipeline, says it will be the safest pipeline built in the country. They are still waiting on official approval from the US State Department for the international border crossing.
