More than 5000 FFA members and guests are attending the 88th Annual Iowa State FFA Convention in Ames this week. Kaleb Kruse with the Maquoketa Valley FFA Chapter has had a busy convention in his senior year.

His Dairy Entrepreneurship Proficiency Award is based on his dairy cattle Supervised Agricultural Experience project and the genomic business he has developed from it.

Kruse already received his state FFA degree last year. He says his future plans include college where he will major in agribusiness and dairy science.
