Members of the Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce and Yankton Area Progressive Growth approved a plan to merge the two agencies.

Interim Chamber Executive Director Nancy Wenande says the members gave them a vote of confidence….

Wenande says they hope to have their new structure in place this summer..

Wenande says there will also be a new board of directors..

In the terms of the merger, Wenande will be the C.E.O. with directors of business services and tourism serving under her direction.
