On Tuesday, voters in northeast Nebraska’s District 40 will choose two out of four candidates to meet on the general election ballot in November.

The seat became open when incumbent Senator Tim Gragert decided not to run for another four year term.

We talked to all four candidates and asked pretty much the same questions of each.

First up is Barry DeKay of Niobrara……

Mark Patefield of Laurel is also running for the seat…..

Robert Johnston of Clearwater has also been running hard….

And

Keith Kube of Crofton is making his third run for the Senate seat…..

Many ballots have been mailed out to voters across the district, but the results should be available Tuesday evening.
