The sale of a city owned lot on east Highway 50 has started a lot of discussion about development and what type of business should be located there.
During this weeks city briefing, City Manager Amy Leon said they will not stand in the way of new business……..(8:16)

Voters earlier this month approved a property tax opt out for the Yankton School District and last year approved an opt out to pay for the Huether Family Aquatic Center. City Manager Amy Leon says both campaigns were successfully driven by volunteers….(4:57)
