The Weekend File – Face Mask Mandates, Cops & Marijuana

Every two weeks, Yankton City Manager Amy Leon and Mayor Nathan Johnson sit down with local reporters to go over the next city commission agenda and other local issues.

The commission, at their Monday meeting, will again talk about the face mask resolution and possible options.

The city has also struggled to hire police officers. City Manager Amy Leon talked about that and also some major changes coming to the department.

Before their Monday meeting, commissioners will hold a one hour work session on legalized marijuana. City Manager Leon says Bill Effting, from Colorado will help them through the haze…https://soundcloud.com/wnax-radio/weekend-file-2-21-2021

The work session starts at 6PM with the commission meeting at 7PM Monday night at the CM-TEA building.
