The Keystone XL Oil Pipeline Project Has Been Revived

The Keystone XL oil pipeline project has been revived by President Trump, who has reversed the decision by former President Obama to reject the TransCanada project.

Governor Pete Ricketts says the proposal now goes before the Nebraska Public Service Commission for review and possible approval. Ricketts dismisses concerns raised by some that TransCanada will abuse eminent domain in Nebraska. . .

Ricketts favors Keystone XL, saying it would be good for Nebraska.

The route of the XL line enters north central Nebraska, then would parallel the first Keystone pipeline in eastern Nebraska.
