Last Saturday the eastbound Highway 50 bridge over the James River was dedicated to the memory of Sgt Allen Kokesh of Yankton who died from a bomb blast while serving in Iraq in 2005. We have the dedication program for you..

Also this week, the Yankton County Commission approved the five year bridge improvement program. Highway Supervisor Mike Sedlacek updated the commission on the public hearing they had on the bridgeplan..https://soundcloud.com/wnax-radio/weekend-file-for-10-11-2020

The bridge plan was approved on a three to one vote.
