After a few negative months, sales tax collections for the City of Yankton have turned around, and have rebounded to the positive side.
City Finance Officer Al Viereck said the state revenue department made some errors last year, so the percentages on the state report look odd.

Viereck says sales tax collections have rebounded very well.

Viereck says the year to date trend is above their budget projections.

Viereck will report the official numbers to the city commission at their meeting Monday night.
