Truck traffic is banned from using the “Johnson Bridge” over the James River in Yankton County.
That came after an inspection found cracks in three of the supporting girders under the bridge.
Yankton County Commission Chairman Todd Woods says the cracks were found after engineers took a deeper look…
Woods says there was also a subsurface inspection…
Woods says while load limits have been put on “Fleegs Bridge” on Old Highway 50, there are not critical issues with that bridge..
Woods says they hope to have details of a fix for the “Johnson Bridge” at their next meeting.
